He is survived by his children, Derek (Joan), Kurt (Gaye), Mark (Joanne) and Grant (Stacy) Tomita; grandchildren, Staci (Bryan) Costigan, and Shannon, Sydney, Tyler, Evan, Kacie, Taylor and Jamie Tomita; brother, Yoshinori (June) Tomita; brother-in-law, Yoshimi (Yuki) Shiraki; sisters-in-law, Toni and Nako Tomita; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
A private graveside service was held on Sunday, March 1, 2015 at Green Hills Memorial Park.
