A private burial service for Betty Umeda Shishido, 99-year-old, Honolulu, Hawaii-born Nisei who passed away on July 20, 2024, in Arcadia, Calif., will be held in Hawaii at a later date.
She is predeceased by her husband, Harry H. Shishido; and is survived by her daughters, Sandra (Alan) Tanaka and Lynnette (James) Hamada; granddaughters, Kathryn (Ryan) Iwamoto and Lauren (Hiram) Cho; grandsons, Kevin (Mary) Tanaka and Brent Hamada; great-granddaughters, Jordyn and Abigail Tanaka; also survived by many other relatives.
