A private graveside memorial service for Dorothy Yukino Asato, 97 year-old, Kersey, CO, born Nisei, who peacefully passed away on June 30, 2024 in Torrance, CA, was held on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at Green Hills Memorial Park. She is predeceased by her husband, Tetsuo Asato, daughter, Laura Tofukuji and son, Russell Asato, and survived by her daughter, Becky Asato Seo; Grandchildren, Scotty and Lianne Tofukuji, Robyn (Charles) Tsik; Great-Grandchildren: Tyler, Cody, Bryson, Dylan, and Emily. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Dorothy will be remembered for her warmth, sharp mind, and deep love for her family.
